Specialist Notes

Rare Venetian edition that collects in a single volume three works by the author of Veronese origin (1521 - 1609). Scourge de 'medici rationali, printed in Venice in 1583 prompted the reply of Claudio Gelli (Venice 1584), which was then followed by Melampigo in 1585 and in 1592, the Lightning. There are many references to the Veronese and Paduan environment and the positions of Bovio, who called himself Zefiriele for magical-kabbalistic conviction, are of particular interest. great importance to astrology in medical practices.
