Specialist Notes
An important work on anatomy for the use of artists, published for the first time in 1667 and preceded only by van der Gracht's Anatomy of 1634. The plates are taken from Vesalius, re-engraved and inverted, and present male figures as skeletons or showing the their muscles, tendons and skin muscles.
