Long, thin, double-edged cusp with remains of engraving, with openwork in the centre and carvings at the base, standing on a four-plate lantern (two others missing) carved with masks. Concave-edged axe, richly pierced and with medallion in the centre, knight on horse (on both faces), remains of engravings. Rear fluke worked en suite. Restored straps. Kept on a cylindrical wooden shaft, with remains of fabric covering and metal studs. Restored base. This lot is imported from a non-EU country and incurs additional taxes beyond the auction house commission and the V.A.T. Consequently, the total Buyer’s Premium, inclusive of all taxes, amounts to 35%.
