Brunello-Franchini manufacture, last quarter of the 18th century, no mark (slight defects and missing parts, no base).
The composition designed by Jean-Pierre Varillon for Este, depicting Venus showing Aeneas and Achates the way to Carthage, enjoyed considerable success and an example of the same model is preserved in the Museum of Palazzo Madama, Turin (see A. Mottola Molfino, L'Arte della porcellana in Italia , I, Busto Arsizio 1976, n. 332).
