This pair of abumi is accompanied by a Nihon-Katchu-Bugu-Kenkyu-Hozon-Kai (NKBKHK) certificate, dating it to the middle Edo period and qualifying it as Tokubetsu-Kicho-Shiryo (especially important complement of armour).
