length total with spring 12,8 cm.
Shaped, iron lock plate. The stirrup of the cock, the jaws, and the pan with remains of raceme engravings. The back of the batterie with the “R/OV/IR/A” (ROVIRA) mark without a crown, above the inscription “IGUALADA”. Complete mechanism on the back.

Specialist Notes

"Apuntes de la Armeria Espanola - Siglos XVI a XIX" by J. Sagrera Azpillaga mentions a Rovira Pere, “Panyetaire de Igualada,” in 1695. In 1698, he was awarded the honorary title of Royal Armorer by Charles II.
