Straight, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide fuller on both sides; tang marked “FISCHER” and dated “825.” Iron hilt with pierced shell guard with eight holes and two windows for the sword knot; long, plain cap. Wooden grip covered in leather. Leather sword knot (later addition). Iron scabbard with two suspension rings. The piece is dated en suite, with an anchor-shaped mark.
