length 92,5 cm.
Rifled barrel (clean bore, visible rifling), of round section, with octagonal breech marked ‘BRESCIA’, “1872”, with serial number ‘M 4xx’ and two marks (one ‘FG’ crowned), equipped with fore-end and adjustable rear sight, 10.4 mm cal at the nozzle. Bolt complete with dust cover. Working mechanism. Cocking knob stamped ‘VP’. Half wooden stock (signs of wear and age), marked on the right side of the butt-plate with serial number coeval to the barrel and with Turin stamp from 1882. Iron mounts, butt plate with flap and ramrod. Iron bayonet with cruciform blade and serial number ‘M 4xx’, contemporary with the weapon. The iron parts are well preserved, with some pitting, especially on the butt plate; barrel and bolt with remains of bluing, probably antique.
