Straight, double-edged blade (possibly shortened), ribbed in the middle but with forte of lenticular section. Traces of markings no longer legible in the slight fuller at the forte. Iron hilt. Rain guard with raised floral decoration on a granular background, central roundel and outer border worked with spiral motifs. Block with longitudinal fullers. Quillon (with broken parts) with straight twisted quillons. The central segment of the guard is twisted, as are the two rings edging the rain guard. Old iron-wire wire binding. Only one Moor's head present. Pommel also with twisted decoration, elongated ovoid in shape and buttoned. Some pitting. Fine old brown patina.
