Curved, single-and-false-edged blade with wide fuller; finely engraved with trophies and floral motifs at the first part, tang featuring a mark shaped as a cockerel. Iron hilt with richly pierced knuckle-guard. Grooved pommel and long smooth cap. Wooden grip covered with fish skin and with metal wire binding. Iron scabbard with two suspension rings. Type similar to that used by the Piacenza Hussars.
