Long, straight, double-edged blade of fine damask, with a pronounced central rib (minor areas with encrustments). The surface has been darkened. Wooden hilt of kindjal-type form covered with silver sheet, featuring an arrow-shaped pommel and a slender grip; the entire surface is decorated with geometric motifs; two rivets with engraved silver heads. Wooden scabbard entirely covered in silver sheet, worked en suite with the hilt; at the throat and on the body of the scabbard, the Sultan's tughra and a star-and-crescent mark; on the back side, near the suspension ring, a cartouche featuring an inscription in Arabic.
