Long and sturdy, square-shaped summit cusp. Ovoid head, reinforced at both ends by an iron-edged cylinder. The back is also covered with an iron plate. The head has several square-shaped cusps. Four bands (of different lengths) are used to fix the head to the shaft. The wooden shaft of cylindrical section, probably missing a segment at the bottom. Clear signs of use and time. The wood has several woodworm holes and a missing section at the head. The iron parts have a beautiful antique brown patina, apparently untouched. Height including head and dorsal cusp: 43 cm.

A typical weapon of 16th-century militias, used mainly in German-speaking countries but also in the northern islands (see examples in Graz and in the Royal Armouries). It is not easy to determine whether the weapon is entirely an antique piece from the 16
