Head with a square-shaped tip, tapered and flat at the base, manufacturer's or arsenal's mark. The axe with slightly concave edge, pierced at the neck. Pierced rear fluke pointed downwards. The two humps of the axe are simple and pointed, while those of the beak are very elaborate, with curls and lobes (missing parts?). Medium-length straps. Counter-straps. Their base is not visible because it is covered by a fabric tassel applied later. Iron ring. Wooden shaft (later?) joined or repaired in the lower segment. Signs of use and age. Probably Southern Germany or Austria.
