Original comic art made by Rubino for an episode of his Lio Balilla, published on the front page of the newspaper Il Balilla, year VI, 1928. After nineteen years at CdP, a true point of reference in the newspaper's editorial staff, Rubino decided to leave the Milanese newspaper to join the regime newspaper Il Balilla, driven by an "absolute need to carry out my work in a less apolitical field and in a more lively and combative manner." Rubino worked at Balilla for only three years, from 1927 to 1929, which makes comic strips from this period extremely rare. Signed.
