Very rare first version of the FIAT TOPOLINO toy car garage, complete with three Fiat 500 B cars, from 1948
Set produced by MLB Marchesini Luigi, Bologna.
The garage is made of wood and lithographed cardboard, with opening front doors to provide access to the three FIAT cars.
The set includes: a FIAT 500 B Giardinetta with opening rear door, original BO 1948 adhesive plate, original tin wheels, original grey colour, details simulating the mouldings and wooden door panels; a FIAT 500 B van, two-tone cream/aqua green, BO 1948 plate, tin wheels; a FIAT 500 B "Topolino" two-tone cream/red, BO 1948 plate, tin wheels.
The cars are made of lithographed tin, complete with a spring-loaded motor, all in working order, and complete with their own winding keys.
Marked on the case back PATENTED MLB MADE IN ITALY, they measure approximately 16.5 / 17 cm in length each.
The garage measures approximately 22 x 18.5 x 13 cm.
All in excellent condition, cars with slight signs of age, small dent on the van at the rear pillar, in original condition.
