Information
ink and markers on paper
22 x 28 cm
Original drawing made by Fellini in the early 1970s depicting a peasant woman during the wheat harvest, one of the many "baffone," the nickname of the peasant women the boys in "Amarcord" spy on with sinful glances. This work was published full-page in the volume "Federico Fellini: La mia Rimini" on page 57 by Guaraldi Editore in 2003. The most immediate expression of Federico Fellini's extraordinary imagination was always drawing, both during the preparation of his films and in those more intimate, carefree, and therefore joyful moments when, having released all his creative energy, he immersed himself in the more relaxing and liberating ones that drawing suggested. Horizontal crease at the top edge, slight creases and small tears at the edges, small loss at the lower left corner.
