Original comic art made by Bilal for page 19 of "Les Phalanges de l'Ordre Noir," first published in Pilote n. 53 in 1978 and later reprinted in a volume by Dargaud in 1979. A French author, illustrator, and director born in Belgrade, winner of the Angouleme Grand Prix in 1987, Bilal and Pierre Christin created "Les Phalanges de l'Ordre Noir," a dense and violent geopolitical story inspired by the Spanish Civil War, unanimously recognized as their masterpiece. Small dent in the upper right corner. Publisher's stamp on the back. Signed.
