Original painting made by Jacono, part of his blue-eyed warriors series. During the early 1970s, Jacono successfully exhibited in a series of painting exhibitions that immediately established him as a pure figurative artist. Among the many subjects that earned him fame as a painter, his warriors emerged at this time: powerful fighters whose blue eyes peer out at the viewer, conveying a sense of peaceful strength and inner tranquility, closer to the code of Bushido than chivalry.
