Information

pencil and ink on thin cardboard
61 x 43 cm
Sunday comic strip of "Peanuts" from August 24, 1952. Part of the series created by the genius of Schulz in October 1950, this Sunday strip is among the earliest ever to appear on the market and ranks among the very first in the famous baseball saga. Charlie Brown first donned his glove in a daily strip in March 1951, and just over a year later—in this very Sunday strip—his friend Lucy made her debut, immediately proving herself to be a skilled catcher. Slight traces of moisture and signs of foxing; slight paper rippling. A museum-quality piece. Signed and dated.
