Original comic art made by Jacovitti for page 2 of "Mandolino Madolì," the adventure of Jak Mandolino, "a good-willed but unlucky thief" as Jak himself describes him, first published in 1970. A character created in the mid-1950s, Jak Mandolino, also known as Jak Violoncello, always has a clumsy advisor at his side, the evil little devil Pop Corn, also known as Satanicchio, on whom the likeable thief vents his anger every time a heist goes wrong in a series of hilarious beatings. Watercolored on the back. Signed with a fishbone and dated.
