Original illustration made by Crepax titled "Subconscious Valentina", taken from the 1976 story of the same name by Valentina, used as a lithograph in 1978. These are the years in which Crepax begins to favor the psychoanalytic reading of his stories over the political one, purely dreamlike stories are born in which Valentina must juggle noir elements inserted in visionary contexts. In this splendid work we see Valentina on the couch of a psychoanalyst who is auscultating her dreams through a retro-futurist device, the Sandman is next to her with 3 owls at his side perched on the foot of the beautiful Valentina. Slight dents at the corners. Signed and dated on the front, stamped and titled on the back.
