Original comic art made by Pichard for "La religieuse," first published on page 41 by the French publishing house Création Art Presse in 1995. Based on the famous novel "The Nun" by Denis Diderot, it is an anticlerical work inspired by a historical event concerning Marguerite Delamarre, a nun at Longchamp Abbey, who in 1758 asked to leave the convent where her mother had locked her up because the girl was the daughter of one of her lovers. Slight crease in the lower left corner.
