Jürgen Kohler, nicknamed "The German" or "The Wall," was one of the strongest and most beloved foreign defenders in Juventus' history, perfectly embodying the club's fighting spirit between 1991 and 1995. Arriving from Bayern Munich, Kohler immediately established himself as a relentless goalscorer, capable of nullifying the world's greatest attackers thanks to his extraordinary physical strength, perfectly timed sliding tackles, and an aerial ability that made him a threat even in the opponent's penalty area. He made 145 appearances and scored 13 goals for Juventus, culminating in the 1993 UEFA Cup final victory against Borussia Dortmund (a team he would later join), and the 1994-1995 Scudetto.
