A copy of “Wolverine: Origins #13” graded by CGC (9.2) and signed by Joe Quesada. The comic was published by Marvel Comics in May 2007. The imposing character on the cover is not Logan (the classic Wolverine), but his son: Daken (Akihiro). The beautiful and essential cover illustration is the work of Joe Quesada, then Editor-in-Chief of Marvel. Joe Quesada is one of the most influential figures in the history of modern American comics, famous for leading Marvel Comics out of a deep financial crisis in the late 1990s. As an artist, Quesada is known for his dynamic, clean lines and very careful character designs (just like the Wolverine: Origins cover you posted). He is particularly known for his work on Daredevil: Guardian Devil and Spider-Man: One More Day. He was Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Marvel Entertainment, contributing to the expansion of superheroes into film and television (such as those produced for Netflix). In 2022, he left Marvel to focus on independent projects and directing.
