The pursuit of harmony has always characterized Horst P. Horst's photography: while on one hand one can appreciate the notable print quality of his black and white images, on the other hand what strikes is the way he integrates bodies into compositions of evident theatrical taste, always very restrained and elegant. In this case, the sinuous lines of the harp mirror those of the female nude, creating an atmosphere of great allure.
