London-Edinburgh, Fullarton & Co., undated (circa 1850). 8vo. A work in two volumes. Half leather binding with gilt corners and trim. Spine with ornaments and a label. Cloth boards. Marbled endpapers and borders. The first volume includes a frontispiece portrait, a color-illustrated title page, and 32 exquisite hand-illustrated color plates; the second volume includes a hand-illustrated color title page, a color-illustrated title page, and 39 exquisite hand-illustrated color plates. The hinges of the first volume have been restored, while those of the second are simply worn. Slight yellowing of the pages and scattered stains.
