Paris, Ernest Bourdin Éditeur, 1839. 8vo. Half cloth binding. Spine with four raised bands and gilt author, title, and decorations. Marbled endpapers. Frontispiece with author's portrait on the verso. Title page with vignette. Text in French. The volume is accompanied by plates on heavy paper depicting the cities visited. The book is somewhat slow. Light browning and minor signs of aging.
