Editorial paperback with black titles on the spine and color-illustrated front cover, preserved in a red half-Moroccan and cardboard binding, b/w illustrations in the text, b/w plates applied outside the text, 6 color plates outside the text. An excellent example of the standard edition. Interesting history of Italian popular graphics in various fields (playful, literary, religious, devotional, etc.). Study of the sources with extensive iconography. Also included in the lot: The art of the book; study of some of the latest creations in typography, text ornamentation, and religion, performed in Europe and America. London - Paris, Editor Charles Holme, Le Studio Ltd, 1914. Special issue of the "Studio". Elegant half-Moroccan binding with gold-decorated bands and compartments, gold-engraved title on the spine. With numerous illustrations and facsimiles printed on glossy paper. The editorial covers remain inside. A perfect copy.
