Nel corso della sua carriera artistica, Gabriella Crespi ha ideato diverse collezioni caratterizzate dall'impiego di elementi a forma di "uovo", realizzati prevalentemente in vetro, marmo o legni pregiati.
La lampada da tavolo modello n. 264, presentata nel 1970 in diverse varianti, incorpora un "uovo" in vetro di Murano appositamente creato dalla storica fornace Barovier & Toso.
Questo modello fu proposto anche in una versione "candeliere" e rimase in produzione fino alla metà degli anni Ottanta.
