The Milan event will also present a fine selection of works dedicated to Gio Ponti, including a series of drawings, sculptures, lighting and furnishing accessories resulting from the collaboration between the Milanese designer and architect and some of Italy's most important manufacturing companies, such as Fontana Arte and Cassina.
Part of the auction will be dedicated to the prestigious collection of Marco Marini and Maria Laura Ferru, published in the two-volume monograph Guido Gambone: Quarant'anni di ceramica d'arte da Vietri a Firenze Maioliche, grès e porcellane che hanno conquistare il mondo, a unique and fascinating collection of objects of great artistic value and fascination.
Also on display in Milan will be a remarkable collection of Murano glass, ceramics and other iconic objects of value.

Condition reports will be issued for lots with a lower estimate of € 800 or more. For other lots the department is available to send detailed images.
The collection of the awarded lots will be possible, by appointment only and subject to confirmation of payment, at ONT - Via Triboniano n. 103 Milan (space 20) on the following days and times:
Wednesday 19 June from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
Thursday 20 June from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
Tuesday 25 June from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
Wednesday 3 July from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
Thursday 4 July from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m;
It is not possible to make payments at ONT.
Small lots can be picked up at our Milan office, Via dei Bossi 2. The request must be received at least 2 days before the date of collection and upon confirmation of warehouse availability.
Lots must be collected in any case by Thursday 4 July 2024, any delay in this regard may incur additional costs, as indicated in the general conditions of sale
Conditions of Sale
Since 2025, the Department of Design & Decorative Arts has distinguished itself by organising two auctions per term, specifically dedicated to the great masters of 20th-century Italian design and the leading names in Murano glassware, as well as national and international decorative arts productions, which constitute the historical and artistic heritage of 20th-century antiques.
The Design Heritage auction selects a limited number of high-quality works of international standing; the Easy Design auction introduces a young and curious audience to the world of collecting, whilst remaining attuned to the needs of a constantly evolving market.
The aim is to make each catalogue a narrative, balanced and well-rounded in its offerings, geared towards collecting and the promotion of the works through collaboration with archives and foundations, as well as detailed and in-depth technical descriptions that fully convey the historical and artistic significance of each piece. The catalogues also include dedicated sections that allow for the presentation of entire collections and groups of works from historic projects by architects and designers.
The Department is always available to appraise works and collections free of charge, offering clients the opportunity to place them in the most suitable and prestigious context, with the utmost confidentiality.
Thanks to the quality of its offering and a wide-reaching and effective communication strategy – which also encompasses the digital world and dedicated online platforms – the Department caters to an international clientele, building a network of enthusiasts, collectors and industry professionals.
