An absolute Holy Grail of vintage collecting, from the most legendary, rare, and expensive expansion in the history of the Pokémon TCG: the extraordinary Holographic Politoed, extracted from the historic Italian Skyridge set (2003) and offered in RAW condition (ungraded, but preserved with exceptional care). The artwork, masterfully painted by master Atsuko Nishida, shows the Pokémon in all its cuteness, immersed in an underwater swamp and enhanced by Skyridge's spectacular holographic pattern. This particular example boasts a priceless detail: a clear and perfect Holo Swirl. Extremely rare to find in this condition in the ITALIAN language. Released in 2003, the Skyridge set is the absolute last historic block printed by Wizards of the Coast before definitively losing the production rights to Nintendo. Due to a microscopically small print run (as interest in the brand was at an all-time low at the time) and the complex separate “H” numbering reserved exclusively for holographic cards, Skyridge Italian-language Holo pieces are considered among the most extreme and hard-to-find rarities in the world.
