The text, one of the most famous in Italian history, begins: "The war against Austria-Hungary, which, under the high leadership of His Majesty the King, Supreme Leader, the Italian Army, inferior in numbers and means, began on May 24, 1915, and with unwavering faith and tenacious courage waged uninterrupted and bitterly for 41 months, is WON." and goes on to describe the gigantic battle of October 1918, the defeat of the Austro-Hungarian armies, and the capture of approximately 300,000 prisoners and 5,000 guns.
It measures approximately 475x685 mm, shows signs of age, but is in good condition.
