Field hockey stick of the British India champions, who won the gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games and dominated the sporting scene from 1928 to 1956.
On the handle are autographed signatures of some of the players of the time.
The gold-winning team consisted of the following athletes (as per Wikipedia sources)
Goalkeepers: Richard Allen, Cyril Michie
The stick measures approximately 900mm (90cm) in length, with obvious signs of play and age, but in good condition.
