Information
Guitar made in the early 1950s by the luthier Stefano Caponnetto, this is one of the guitars owned and used by the very young Lucio Battisti, given to him by his father, Alfiero Battisti, and is considered the " number one ".
Conservatively restored, the guitar was then autographed by Lucio Battisti in the restored part (see oval portion in slightly different colors)
As reported by Alfiero himself in an interview with the newspaper "Il Tirreno":
As reported by Alfiero himself in an interview with the newspaper "Il Tirreno":
" I remember when I gave him his first guitar. He was in fifth grade, 11 years old. By the time he was 16, Lucio was asking to leave. The orchestra directors who were playing gigs would come to me. Lucio played the guitar very well, and they wanted to take him away. But I refused. At one point, I even smashed the guitar over his head. Mind you, without hurting him. Lucio didn't say anything, he just looked at me. The next day he came to my office; I was working at the customs house. We went to a shop together, and I bought him another guitar.
