The sheet presented is part of a conceptual operation, developed by Cesare Tacchi, re-polishing its shape from the last shot of Painting (performance of 1972 performed in the studio of Elisabetta Catalano who was photographing) and making a series of some copies (photocopies), the the first of which, defined by the Author as “Stereotype”, is kept in the Cesare Tacchi Archive. Some of these copies were donated by the Author to other artists and friends, perhaps with the intention that they could work on them (as Loreto Soro recalls, in a testimony collected by Daniela Lancioni, on the occasion of the recent retrospective at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome), each adding his own personal contribution.Suggested lots
