The first part of the catalog presents a high-quality core (lots 1-108), the fruit of a conscious yet consistent passion for 19th-century Italian art, developed over decades, and for the regional schools that have now embraced the international market. This is followed by a carefully selected selection of works, both Italian and international, continuing this ideal journey through 19th- and 20th-century art through paintings and works on paper of remarkable quality.

The 19th and Early 20th Century Art Department evaluates and sells at auction paintings and works of art dating back to the period between the early 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.

Thanks to meticulous work on the selection and collection of works, the catalogues present not only paintings from the 19th and 20th century, but also sculptures in terracotta, marble and bronze, as well as emblematic works from drawing to watercolour, from oil to tempera on canvas. The department devotes special attention to Italian and international works of art.

Works presented in previous catalogues include painters from the Roman countryside, representatives of the Roman Secession, great masters of the various regional schools and artists of worldwide fame and appeal such as Antonio Mancini and Paolo Troubetzkoy.
