Copper blade with a series of eleven holes, wooden handle wrapped with twin lead and copper sheets.
Local names: Mambere, MambéléKnife in the shape of a billhook used as a symbol of power by Mangbetu nobles.In the centre of the blade, there are 11 holes, which are rare for knives of this sort. Legend has it that each hole corresponds to one of the owner’s wife. Object denotes prestige
