dating: Period (1603-1867) provenance: Japan, Rare, brown-lacquered, 13-plated iron Suji kabuto (missing parts at the mabizashi), maedate in gold-lacquered iron with also gold-lacquered Fuji Mon in the centre. Shikoro with 4 blades (lacquer with missing parts) laced in Kon-ito sugake-odoshi with small fukigaeshi. Fine Ressei Menpo also in brown-lacquered (missing moustache) with 4-blade wavy yodarekake laced in the style of Kabuto. height 42 cm.
