Information
First issue at the cover price of 12 cents.
Cover by Jack Kirby (pencils) and Sol Brodsky (inks), with text by Stan Lee.
This issue marks the first appearance of Miracle Man in The Menace of the Miracle Man!, where the new antagonist makes his debut by humiliating the Thing during a magic show, before declaring war on humanity by animating a monstrous statue. The story unfolds in a complex, multi-chapter narrative leading up to the final showdown.
The issue also includes a pin-up featuring the Human Torch and is of particular historical significance: it features the official Fantastic Four costumes and the Fantasticar for the first time, as well as hosting the series' first mail column (with a letter from future artist Alan Weiss).
A specimen of great interest for Silver Age collectors, full of first appearances and founding moments in the group's mythology.

Specialist Notes
All comics are graded by EGC - European Grading Company , a comics grading service renowned for its accuracy and transparency. EGC uses a full decimal scale from 0 to 10 to evaluate the condition of comics, allowing for extremely detailed evaluations. Each comic is examined by three expert evaluators who jointly agree on the final rating. The EGC grading system is applicable to comics of any era, with no distinction between past masterpieces and new gems. The final rating is published both on the EGC website and delivered in a prestigious format to the comic's owner. It is freely viewable thanks to a QR code on the back, which allows you to view the evaluators' work.
