The set represents an ideal Italian Renaissance piazza, designed so that the roofs are lids and the surfaces are plates or bowls. The set includes 10 buildings: the Ducal Palace (composed of two bowls and two trays), the Government Palace (composed of six soup plates and a tureen), the Palazzo della Signoria (composed of six dinner plates and a tureen), the Tower (composed of six bowls), two coordinated towers of glassware, one black (a glass with a small, invisible internal slope) and the other clear, a smaller building (composed of six appetizer plates), two smaller buildings (both composed of two airtight kitchen containers), and a Baptistery (composed of a cookie jar, six cups, and a milk jug).
