The Calculator, with his unmistakable analytical skills, dispatches a series of android replicants to capture the Fantastic Four. The plan proceeds with obsessive precision, but the evil villain may have once again underestimated the human element. Mr. Fantastic will use this opportunity to outsmart the Calculator… with his superior intelligence.

The Monster from the Lost Lagoon!

At the request of the U.S. Navy, the Fantastic Four investigate the mysterious disappearances of ships off the coast of Florida. A local legend tells of a sea creature patrolling the waters, wreaking havoc. Reed, Ben, and Johnny, with the help of an expert aquarium keeper, explore the lagoon's depths.
But near the bottom, the aquarium keeper betrays the team and transforms into the fearsome Monster of the Lost Lagoon! After Mr. Fantastic and the Human Torch succumb to the water's pressure, the ever-valiant Thing faces the monster in a dramatic one-on-one duel. Will Ben Grimm be able to defeat the creature and unlock the lagoon's secrets? Franklin cameo.

The Creature from the Lost Lagoon will return to challenge the Fantastic Four in a later issue.

Mystery on the Moon!

In the Baxter Building lab, Mr. Fantastic intercepts a cryptic message from the Kree Empire. Reed and his companions suspect it is connected to NASA's upcoming moon landing at Tranquility Base.
As the Apollo 11 mission lifts off from the Kennedy Space Center, the Fantastic Four head to the South Pacific to trace the mysterious transmission's origins to Earth. On a suspicious island, the team encounters an old enemy: Sentry 459. The Kree robot plans to sabotage America's historic moon landing, but the Fantastic Four can't allow it. If Ben Grimm can take one small step for man , Neil Armstrong can take one giant leap for mankind ! Cameos by Alicia Masters, Franklin, and Neil Armstrong himself.
