A copy of “Batman Kings of Fear #1 DC Variant” (2018) graded by CGC (9.8) and signed by Bill Sienkiewcz. The release of Batman: Kings of Fear #1 in August 2018 was a notable event, not only for the return of artist Kelley Jones, but also for the variant covers it released, including a spectacular one by the legendary Bill Sienkiewicz. Bill Sienkiewicz is renowned for his unique, experimental style, blending expressionist and abstract techniques, often lending a dreamlike or psychedelic feel to his subjects. While Kelley Jones's main cover emphasized gothic aesthetics and long capes, Sienkiewicz's variant offers a window into the character's psychological disintegration.
