Medals received for his activity on the French Western Front in the 4th Army Cuneo Division, on the Greek-Albanian Front in the 2nd Army, in the MEDITERRANEAN CAMPAIGN from 15 July 1941 to 16 June 1942, and lastly in the VOLUNTEER FREEDOM CORPS on the Resistance Front from 30 June 1944 to 25 April 1945
The lot is completed by the photograph of the soldier mounted in the centre of the painting.
