An important and magnificent bronze sculpture depicting the condottiero Bartolomeo Colleoni on horseback. This bronze dates back to the second half of the 19th century, modeled after the original equestrian statue by Andrea del Verrocchio , created between 1480 and 1488 and located in Campo San Zanipolo, Venice.
The sculptural details are remarkable, as are the precise references in the armor, the saddle, the steed, and the face of the Captain of Fortune himself.
Standing on its own marble base, signature not identified, measures approximately 600mm in height by 550mm in length
