Commemorative trophy-plaque composed of a medallion
circular silver metal mounted on
a support for support.
The obverse of the medallion features an abstract decorative motif in high relief:
two circular shapes of different sizes, arranged in an asymmetrical position and
connected by angled, arrow-like lines that evoke lightning or movement
dynamic. The composition, essential and modernist, recalls the language
visual of conceptual art and Italian industrial design of the second
Twentieth century.
Engraved wording " PREMIO CAPODIECI SIRACUSA ", official recognition of the event
cultural, artistic Syracusan, within the civic and cultural sphere of the city.
Signed Carmelo Cappello 1976 with engraving on the edge.
It measures approximately 200x180mm, in good condition.
