On the front door, full-page portrait of the dedicatee of the work, by MM Bousquet, frontispiece printed in red and black characters with vignette with portrait of the author engraved by Will after Kneller, 5 full-page plates engraved by Gallimard, numerous vignettes engraved by Soubeyran after Delamonce, slight browning and some stains, coeval binding in brown calfskin, plates framed by double gold piping and small festoons at the corners.
