Typographical mark on the title page, title in red and black ink, headboards and xylographic initials, T2 tear with a gap in the outer margin, small sporadic stains, slight halos on the lower margin of some papers, coeval binding in full parchment, title stamped in gold within the insert on the back, some halos and light scratches.

A well-known treatise in which the Calvinist jurist Claude de Saumaise (1588-1653) advocates the legitimacy of the application of a fair interest on the sums lent.
